In April 2016, work on a mosque in Al Qurayyah uncovered a Wadi Suq period tomb, roughly 2000 to 1600 BC, in the mosque's outdoor yard. A German Archaeological Institute team studied it, and the Fujairah Tourism and Antiquities Authority covered and fenced the site.

Around it, dams and breakers hold back the water that runs down from the Hajar mountains after rain. Families here are spread out, and the nearest government counters are in Fujairah city.

Those checks are not the same as the residency visa medical, which EHS now directs to dedicated centres. For a visa, adults go to Al Amal or Mina Tower in Fujairah.

Is there a government service centre in Al Qurayyah?
No ICP centre is listed in the village; ICP's Fujairah offices are in Sakamkam and Merashid. Most transactions can be filed online without visiting either.
Can Al Qurayyah Health Center do my residency medical?
No, EHS lists it as a primary care centre, and Fujairah residency medicals are done at Al Amal or Mina Tower. The village centre handles everyday care, vaccinations and new employee fitness checks.
How far is Al Qurayyah from Fujairah city?

Can you renew a farm worker's visa?
